The NAA Community

The New Albion community is made up of many rich and rewarding relationships. There are relationships amongst the faculty and fellows as well as amongst the students in our community. There are also, naturally, the relationships between students and teachers. However, New Albion wishes to support and augment families and not to replace or supplant that primary relationship of the child with his family. This commitment to families is worked out in the following ways:

  1. Open-door Policy. We have open doors. Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit all classes at any time.
  2. Part-time enrollment policy. We at New Albion Academy are committed to supporting home schooling families in our area. To that end we do not require that students enroll in our full program. Instead, we offer families the choice of enrolling in any course(es) that fits into their education plan. If we can help you meet your school needs for your students, we welcome you to consider enrolling in the specific classes of your choice.
